We here at Carpboyz have been extremely busy in the rebuilding of this site, the story so far is:
Thanks to BT we embarked on a domain name transfer from the original site hosts @ VISN to the now present host BT. This was supposed to be a straight forward request but as like most things in life the transition was by no means a smooth one. After 2 months of phone calls and disappointments BT finally managed to enable us to publish the old website. During this time CarpBoyz.co.uk was created as a test site for the rebuild and will be utilised as part of our attempt at world domination by creating a Rep site for companies feeling the pinch. Whilst all this was going on a little trip to France for Chris and I was undertaken to pick up our first major review which incidentally will be published in one or two of the well known magazine covering our piscatorial pursuits. we have also received official sponsorship from Pallatrax for all the Carpboyz Team so expect more reviews of their products in the coming months.

The site is coming along slowly but surely. Each page is being recreated and moved around to try and improve the look. The Photo Gallery will be ready any day now as the test one appears to be holding well and the bugs have been ironed out. As for the forum im afraid to have to say it was lost in transit and conflicted with BT's host server for some reason so we are building a new one and have requested you all to send your email addresses to the email provided also we can start the announcer pro program which will give regular updates straight to your email. Watch this space for further news and updates......

Finally the Forum and Gallery are up and running. Its been slog I can tell you and im starting to go computer blind. With the new forum comes a whole new experience and unlike the previous one a few new features have been added. We can now mass email our members to keep them updated on latest post and discussions as well as add another photo gallery too. As for the Main Gallery on our site you can send us your pictures and we will upload them, give as much detail as possible such as weight, when, where and what on and it will all be added to the slideshow. Next thing on the list will be a live chat feature so watch out for that.

The site is getting bigger now and with the Sponsorship by Pallatrax and Viper it will only get bigger. The Pallatrax page is now done and you can see some of the extensive range they hold. a link to their Web site is available should you wish to make an order or just to see what they have to offer. we have used some of the items shown and had some very good results. A new Gallery section has also been added but we still want more pictures so get them emailed to us at info@carpboyz.com so we can share them with the world. The forum is also picking up and soon we hope it to be as popular as the original but we can not do that without you.

As the Pallatrax page is now finished and the reviews section has been cleaned up, the Etang De Chanet review has now been posted. We will now be concentrating on the Viper section and then the film form France should be ready to post. We are still waiting for you guys to start getting your pictures in so we can use the Gallery everyone wanted on the first site so get them sent.

The Site is almost done but we are still waiting for a couple of people to send us the relevant info to be added to their pages. This weekend marks the BCAC at Aquatels and we are hoping to have news of the event posted soon. Two friends of the Carpboyz Team will be taking part in the event and hopefully the following weekend we will see them on Sky Sports sporting the Carpboyz T shirts. We wish them luck for the competition and will be following them closely. The forum is going well but we still need more members to join so get amongst your friends ..........

The site is going from strength to strength. We have now completed the video made at Etang De Chanet and will be off to film another video on monday week for Viper. We still need to make our membership base increase so more tips and tricks can be shared by true anglers and not magazine face men. so get on and get posted

On Sunday the 26 July 09 Richard will be taking part in the annual Charity match at a lake in Upminster, unfortunately the lake has no name as it is a members only water. the charity who will benefit from this event are Mcmillian Nurses and St Francis Hospice. Pallatrax have added to the prize bundle and obviously Richard will be using their baits as per normal, so good luck to him and lets hope he gets a good result. Richard will be writing a full account of the event and even add some pictures in the near future.
